Welcome to the forum. Please read our OraFAQ Forum Guide and please read How to use [code] tags and make your code easier to read

With regard to your question, OEM is specifically designed to manage databases remotely. That is what it is for!

Hi

Thank you for your quick answer.
Regarding my question, I meant Enterprise Manager Dbconsole for a stand alone installation.
Is there a way to use a static ip-address for entering through internet?

When I say through Internet I don't mean Internet Explorer.
What Im trying to say is a way to enter to this webpage, from my laptop in my house while the database is in a server in another place

Well, it has occurred to me that one might want to run a browser on a laptop while the database instance is somewhere else. I think it occurred to Larry Ellison too.

If YOU can accomplish the above, it means that I can do the same from MY house to your database!

I'll try again, but your question makes no sense. The only way to use OEM is by contacting it from a browser. The dbconsole should always run on a static address: it is possible to run it on a dynamic address, but this is rarely done. So if you want to administer your database across the internet, just do it. What's the problem?
