Hi,

I thought that vmware software/player is free. But when I was trying to install VMware player 9, it was asking for the licence key. In order to get the licence key, I need to pay ~$250. Please let me know if I could install vmware software for free of cost? I want to install VMware software, then install linux centOS 6 and then install oracle 11.2.0.2 and do practice with oracle. Please help.

Why are you posting question about VMWARE on Oracle forum?
Go bother any VMWARE Forum with your questions about it!
No Oracle version is certified on CENTOS.
Consider to only use supported configurations.
