I see that you have posted a couple of dozen questions in two days.
Most of them are pretty simple, and would not be asked by anyone who has read the introductory documentation.
May I suggest that you organize your studies? Rather than trying to understand individual concepts with no background, begin by studying some general concepts. This is a good place to start, database concepts (no need to read part IV) and for now you can miss out chapters 4, 8, 17, and 18. If there are things you have trouble with, come back with questions and give the paragraph number.
It will you only a few days, and will save you weeks of meandering around the subject.
Or buy one of the many introductory books on the subject (I happen to think that mine is pretty good, OCP guide or attend a course, such as DBA intro
