Hi,

How to set commit_write parameter to 'BATCH' in another session.

Thanks.

When all else fails, Read The Fine Manual

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e25513/initparams034.htm#REFRN10260

"The COMMIT_WRITE parameter is deprecated. It is retained for backward compatibility only. It is replaced by the COMMIT_LOGGING and COMMIT_WAIT parameters."

Hi Blackswan,

we are using 10g and it's been deprecated in 11g.

I was asking whether it's possible to set in other session(s) like how we do for sql trace in another session using dbms_system.

Thanks.
