I'm unable to create databsae manually on 11G, Please see the attachment for the details and the steps I followed.

ORA-09925: Unable to create audit trail file
Linux-x86_64 Error: 2: No such file or directory

Check the audit directory exists and accessible to oracle:

audit_file_dest='/media/volume-01/u01/app/oracle/admin/oracl/adump'

Is this really "oracl" and not "oracle", or the db name: AG_PUB?

the audit directory doesn't exist...

as i mentioned earlier ..a folder having name of the existing database is present in the "/media/volume-01/u01/app/oracle/admin" directory...apart from that nothing.

shall i create the audit directory..?

I created the audit file location and is accessible by the user 'oracle', but the problem still persisting..

I bet the parameter and the directory you created do not match in the spfile.

And kill all processes that returns the following:
ps -eaf|grep $ORACLE_SID

Is this not the database you are trying to create?
In this case, no one is using it.

Eureka Eureka... the issue solved ...

I killed all the above said processes ..and created the spfile again...this time it got succeeded ..and i'm able to create database successfully...
