Hi,
There is a big difference between OCA Java 6 and OCA Java 7. The certification 1Z0-850 - Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 5/SE 6 tests theoretical knowledge in all Java platforms (SE, EE and ME), however the new version (Java SE 7 OCA) focused on programming skills unless like SCJA 6. The new Java SE 7 programmer level certification is divided into two parts based on skill levels.
1Z0-803 - Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer - tests basic knowledge in Java programming
1Z1-804 - Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 7 Programmer - tests advanced knowledge in Java programming.
