rep 1800 formatter error [message #576901]

Iam gernerting report in 6i its giving the error rep 1800 formatter error and vgs 1701 ot enough memory
then i changed Buffer size from 640 to 3000 step by step in Tools -> Preferences -> Runtime Settings of Report Builder, but still I get the same above error.what i have to do.

If not, what operating system do you use? What does it report do? When does it raise the error (development or runtime)?

Thanks for your reply.

Iam using Windows Xp.Tis report is have huge data in group by format.when i generate the report the pages are started showing by the report engine.after that its gave the above error.pls help me

Perhaps you should rewrite its query, i.e. add additional condition into the WHERE clause which would split that huge output into several smaller ones.
