G'day,

I am researching Oracle's ODA and was wondering whether anyone has used one yet?

I have a few questions but they would most probably need first-hand knowledge of the device.

For those who does not know what it is, here's the link to OTN overview page:

Michel,

Thanks for adding the ODA link to this thread. I have a feeling that we are going to see more and more small and medium businesses moving to this lower priced but high value equipment.

I'm interested in which database version people are running on their ODA: Enterprise Edition, RAC One Node, or full RAC?

Are they running a single instance or more?

If running more than one instance:
- are they running the second instance on a different IP address or just a different port number?
- are they running a single or multiple Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) instances?

David

PS @Michel, is this the right forum for ODA discussions?
