OU - Purchasing- payable 's, Order management an Receivables would be done operating Unit level,

Org - Internal material Transactions like Move orders, Sub Inventory transactions would be happened.

Imp:-- With in the OU', we will have no of organizations.. And the PO, OM, AR & AP operations would be done at Operating unit level only, not Org level.

Hi,

The org and OU structure varies from client to client. A legal entity may have multiple operating units and within the operating unit we may have multiple
inventory organizations depending upon the client requirements. For e.g. A group of companies G is having Aluminium plant A located in India and Copper plant C
located in Australia. So in this case we can consider A & C ass operating units. Each of these operating unit may have multiple inventory organizations wherein the inventory related transactions will be carried out. These inventory organizations are nothing but we call it as org/organizations.
