Tns protocol adaptor error [message #547363]

hi,

I am installing oracle10 10.0.4 in windows server 2008 r2 sp1
while installing it is getting installed and when i start cereating the database after accepting the default steps finally
while crating the error i get TNS:protocal adaptor error.

please help me to solve

Version 10.0.4 never existed.

Copy and paste what you did and got (do it in text mode INSIDE the post, NO attached file).

sorry 10.2.0.4 version

First installing software alone the creating the database through dbca command after passing all the credential
we get :TNS:protocal adaptor error the server is brand new server (windows 2008 r2 sp1)
