Hi there,

I'm sure this is a rookie question, but I can't find out how to determine the latest patch set installed for my database (Oracle 10g version 10.2.0.3.0). I don't need to install a patch-set, but, rather, just determine the current one I have installed.

This is all really new to me so my apologies if I'm not using the correct terms.

If it's relevant, I have access to OEM/OE.

I know it should be 10.2.0.x.x or 10.2.x.x.x or something like that.

Thoughts/idea/suggestions would be appreciated.

okie dokie. So after some poking around through OEM/EM, I've determined that for my version of Oracle (10.2.0.3.0), I have patch set 2 installed.

I suppose I should next ask how I find out what the latest patch set is for Oracle 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.3.0) for MS Windows (32 bit)? i.e. am I up to date? What's the latest patch set and what's involved in downloading it?

You can (also) use "OPatch lsinventory" command on the databasae server.
