Hi,

I have below text stored in a DB table, am querying the same text in SQL Developer and am getting the correct reading order
Correct Data

Arabic : %بوليستر 70%, قطن 30
English : 70% Polyester, 30% Cotton

But in Oracle report am getting the wrong data like below

Wrong Data

Arabic : بوليستر 70%, قطن
30%

English : 30% Polyester 70% Cotton

Can you do the needful to resove this issue.

Dear,
Did you Set font from Report menu toolbar Format -> Font - Aril
-> Script - Arabic.( Click filed which you wants to show in Arabic )

Secondly Format -> Set Direction Right to Left.

Hi,
In my application,we are manually entering the translated form of local language in the database.
The english form is 70% Polyster, 30% Cotton and the corressponding arbic format is بوليستر، 30٪ قطن٪70
The arbic format here also came wrong i.e 70% should come at last .But in database it is correctly showing.

In oracle reports 10g one field i have designed and the source i made the data which will come from the database.
But while printing in the report the text is not aligned properly i.e same like the arbic format i shown.

Please help me out in this.

U can see the image how i m getting the result.
Actually it sud come like only 70% sud come at last but it is coming at first.

Hello Dear,

Go to registry editor and set nls parameter to change from AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252 to ARABIC_EGYPT.AR8MSWIN1256. Then I am sure it will work fine.
