hii,

i got an error 002236 invalid file name

ya i seen that web page but which one is incorrect and how can i find it..??

and it shows the error on CHARACTER SET

please help me...

As always, see alert.log
You should REALLY read this file before posting as well as the documentation.

If you want to create manually things you MUST read the documentation; if you don't want to read then use assistants like dbca.

You still have not read the documentation, have you? Here is the link to the example CREATE DATABASE command:

Hint: Oracle is interpreting your line 5 as an online logfile name, why could that be?
