Hi,

Is there way i can transfer a dump file of size 5 GB from unix machine to windows local machine
apart from ftp,scp and software's like winscp,ssh secured client ?

If there is a way, please tell me how to transfer the file.

Which one is allowed if all genuine tools are not?

I have one way: floppy disks.

Two other solutions:

- Set up a Samba on the Unix machine
- Set up a NFS on the Windows machine

NFS

Of course setting them up is WAAAAYYY more complicated than just using FTP or SCP, which are the easiest possibilities.
