I've a problem in that I cannot log onto one of our schemas on one of our databases via SQL*Plus, TOAD, SQL Developer etc...
Attempting to do so yields the following error message:
"ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied"

However, if I try to log onto the same schema via any of the unix boxes using the sqlplus command, that works fine.

It's only this schema that is affected. For all other schemas (on that database and on others), I don't have this problem.

Any ideas what the DBAs have done?

You have to post here (that is copy and paste, in text mode inside the post not with attahched images) the sqlplus sessions when it works and when it does not.

Before, Please read OraFAQ Forum Guide and How to use [code] tags and make your code easier to read.
Make sure that lines of code do not exceed 80 characters when you format.
Indent the code, use code tags and align the columns in result.
Use the "Preview Message" button to verify.
Also always post your Oracle version, with 4 decimals.
