I upgraded from 92080 to 10201 and configured EM DB Control but I cannot log into the EM DB Control. I have tried to reconfigure using EMCA even though it completes successfully I still cannot connect. My database is a NON-RAC environment running on a Sun Cluster. The EM is configured on the primary node.

I get the error below when looking at RDA output.

**Repository database connection disabled**%BR%ORA-12541: TNS:no listener

Output if lsnrctl status is setup as follows

Listening Endpoints Summary...
(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=10.1.31.86)(PORT=2500)))
Services Summary...
Service "billing-lh" has 1 instance(s).
Instance "KFXPR", status UNKNOWN, has 1 handler(s) for this service...
The command completed successfully

listener.ora is below

LSNR_KFXPR =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS= (PROTOCOL= TCP)(Host=billing-lh)(Port=2500))
)
SID_LIST_LSNR_KFXPR =
(SID_LIST =
(SID_DESC =
(GLOBAL_DBNAME=billing-lh)
(ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/KFXPR)
(SID_NAME = KFXPR)
)
)

here billing-lh is a logical name for the active cluster node but I just wanted to setup EM for a single physical/primary node.

Please assist some body.

>listener.ora is below

content is mal-formed & filled with error(s).
As a sanity test remove, rename, or delete listener.ora file then do as below

lsnrctl start

COPY command & results then PASTE all back here

The listener works fine in its current configuration ; an application connect to that service and also maintain that connection capability across cluster nodes. NOT RAC but Sun Clusters, the problem is getting EM to connect using that logical name to the same service.

Content is not malformed and there are no errors in the listener.ora file.
