I don't know Oracle Apps., but "dimmed" sounds like "disabled". If this menu is created with Forms Developer, perhaps you could use SET_MENU_ITEM_PROPERTY built-in, its ENABLED property whichOracle

specifies whether the menu item is enabled (thus active) or disabled (thus greyed out and unavailable to the operator)

Thanks for you attention.
But we can not modify the source code of any form.

How does Quote:

Can I make any item in oracle form dimmed.

go together withQuote:

we can not modify the source code of any form.

Though, here's one idea: find a candle, break your neighbour's window and take one glass piece. Set the candle on fire and dim the glass. Then put the dimmed glass in front of that menu item and it will be ... well, dimmed.

Just kidding! Sorry, I wouldn't know how to do that. But, then again, I already said that I don't use Oracle Apps. Hopefully, someone who knows that software will be able to assist.

Your joke is not accepted because I'm asking about a problem facing me at a customer want to prevent the user from doing an action in this form.
So, if you have an answer send me it else I don't want to know you.

Never mind me and my jokes, but - someone might benefit from explaining how do you plan to set certain feature to another value if you are not allowed to modify any form?
