I have isntalled oracle 11g release 2 sucessfully. But while creating a database by Database Configuration Assistant. in 2% copying database files ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error has come. Please help...

all services is running for oracle. also listener is also up. But still facing the problem while creating database by dbca. 
ORA-12560:TNS:protocol adapter error

Listener is useless to connect locally.
You have to set ORACLE_SID to connect locally (and ORACLE_HOME and PATH accordingly).
