Hi,

I tried the list of commands to find number of CPU's in Sun solaris but didnt work out.

$ uname -a
SunOS 5.10 Generic_138888-07 sun4u sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise
$
$ psrinfo -v
ksh: psrinfo:  not found
$
$
$ psrinfo
ksh: psrinfo:  not found
$
$ top
ksh: top:  not found
$ psrinfo
ksh: psrinfo:  not found

Can anybody assist me in finding number of CPU's

Either those are not installed
or
just not available in your default PATH.
Try from these locations.

oracle@kapi#which psrinfo 
/usr/sbin/psrinfo
oracle@kapi#which top
/usr/local/bin/top
