I don't believe you.
Is COPY & PASTE broken for you?

It is really, Really, REALLY difficult to fix a problem that can not be seen.
use COPY & PASTE so we can see what you do & how Oracle responds.

I am an oracle DBA
And this issue is coming in our Db which we received through fog-light tool on email. there is no description of error no error number,
not even alert log has no more clue related to this error. but this comes when long running jobs are started in DB

Hello everyone

My name is supriya

I am an oracle DBA

I am constantly recieving an error message in our production DB.

There are 2 probable extent failures for tablespace RBS3.

(ORACLE 8i)

There is no description in alert log about this error,
no clues are available.

Please help me if you know anything about this error

so go post in QUEST forum since this is a Chicken Little "alarm", IMO.

If you turn off FogLight, then no problem needs to be "solved".

Do you believe FogLight accurately reports reality?
Then take action; but you need to decide exactly what action is required.
Ask QUEST what should be done next.
