Dear experts,

We have a SAP System in our office which has a oracle Db with its source tables around 50 lets say.

we need to create some reports for the Management using Business intelliegence Tools ..(in our case its SAP BO)

in order to create reports we need a Database on which we can make a reporting layer ie arranging tables joins etc...and then do the reporting ..basically we need a rdbms.

but we cannot do reporting or hit our queries on live DB,hence i want to suggest the DBA to create a copy of the same DB which can store lets say one day old data and can use it in another schema for reporting

Is this possible ? or is there any better way to do this

Pls suggest me the approach as my primary requirement is like a copy fo existing source tables.

Million thanks in advance
