Hi All,

I'm working to put an Oracle instance on standby. I got out the message on my standby instance: ORA-01665: control file is not a standby control file.
Is there any problem if I generate with the command alter database create standby controlfile as '/opt/oracle/backup/standby.ctl' in my production environment? It can not be stopped.

Thank you.

Sergio
