Hi,

Iam very happy after checking all the posts in this forum.I need some information regarding how can i do practice as oracle DBA,like i want to develope one own application at my home.Please share your thoughts.

Being Oracle DBA and developing an Oracle application are 2 different things.
Choose one and study it, then you can improve your knowledge by studying the other one.

Here are good books for you:
Database Concepts
Database SQL Reference
PL/SQL User's Guide and Reference
Application Developer's Guide - Fundamentals

Administrator's Guide

Hi Michel,

Thanks for your reply with information.I had 3 years of experience in java like i can develope application with using oracle as database or postgres,but now i want to shift to oracle side completely.SO,i did oracle dba,oracle apps,rac courses and i don't have experience practically.I am not getting any calls as fresher .SO, i thought need to develope one application at home and explain them with dba concepts.For this situation how should i approach to get in into job?Please suggest me .
