Hi,
How to identify whether i have permission to add tns entry to TNSNAMES.ORA file in unix box ?
Description of my tnsnames.ora file

-rw-r--r-- 1 oracle dba 6439 Jun 6 16:15 tnsnames.ora.20110606

Worry about what? You are unable to get any knowledge and skill and are too lazy to get them and search by yourself?
I worry about dump questions for this site (and anyone you post) not about you, I'm now sure you will stay.
I worry about the job you steal to those that are more likely be able to do it when you are just able to ask others to do it for you.
... And I'm still waiting for you to answer the questions I asked you in other topîcs (and sites).

If you are not interested in Oracle, Unix or anything in computing world then leave it.
Note that there are surely some domains where you have or can have some skille but computer is not one of them.
