Charu, you must be careful of the law. I don't know exactly what books you are asking for, or what book you studied for 1z0-007, but if your only copy is a PDF, then it is almost certainly illegal.
Oracle University now distributes its course manuals to registered students as PDFs, and each PDF is watermarked with the student's name: specifically to help with tracking illegal copies. The Oracle Press Exam Guides include a CD with the full text as PDF files, it is of course illegal to re-distribute these.
As for a recommendation, you could try this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Oracle-Database-Administration-Guide-1Z0-052/dp/0071591028
(though as you'll see when you look up the author, I am not a dis-interested party) or I think Sybex has a similar publication.
I won't wish you "good luck" with the exam, because if you study properly as I did, you don't need luck.

Quote:Oracle University now distributes its course manuals to registered students as PDFs, and each PDF is watermarked with the student's name If your college is operating within the law, they will have registered you with Oracle Uni and given you your personalized copy of the manual. If they have not done that, either they are using stolen materials, or they must write their own.
If they wrote their own material to run independent courses, they will then have the problem that the Oracle database licence agreement specifically excludes using unlicensed software for teaching. From the agreement you accept when you download software:Quote:You may not ... use the programs to provide third party training;
You probably need to discuss this with your college tutors, and determine whether they are operating within the law as Oracle University partners. If they are not, you will have problems getting your OCA/OCP/OCM credentials: Oracle Uni will not accept third party non-accredited training as fulfilling the mandatory course attendence requirement.
