Hi
Can someone help me ? When i opened a new window i need the cursor to be in a particular item ,i dunno how to navigate to a particular item?
example:
i have four columns : description, quantity, rejection id,rejection name in the window.
when i opened the window the cursor is placed in rejection id ... i need the cursor to be in quantity..
i have tried by using go_item(' '); but it does not wrks...

I don't use Oracle Apps. and have learnt that what works in Forms itself doesn't have to work in Apps.

However: in Forms, you'd create a WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger:
go_item('quantity');
Does it help?

thanks ... it wrks when i gave go_item in when button pressed trigger to open that window
