Hi all,
I used sqlite, mysql several times. but I am new to such a complex DBMS like Oracle.
I have installed Oracle server on windows 7 64 bit. But it is not allowing me to login with "sysdba" privileges.
Before installing server, there was client installed on the same machine so the problem may be because of that. I even tried it by uninstalling the client and again installing the server. But no success.

Please guide me how to do it.

Thanks,

Use SQL*Plus and copy and paste your session, the WHOLE session.

Before, Please read OraFAQ Forum Guide and How to use [code] tags and make your code easier to read.
Make sure that lines of code do not exceed 80 characters when you format.
Indent the code, use code tags and align the columns in result.
Use the "Preview Message" button to verify.
Also always post your Oracle version, with 4 decimals.

Regards
Michel
