Hi all..
This is Just curious.
Today While I was reading about X$ tables/views today,I learned that there are only few v$views(Just 23) In Earlier versions of Oracle say like version 6 and version 7.
As so many experienced/retired persons here...
I just wanna know about the X$ views in those versions.
Were they exist at that time ?
If so how many were they ?Are you people crazy about the hidden things in oracle at that moment.

Why do you care about x$ tables in versions that (almost) no one uses?
Sometimes you have some concerns that flabbergast me.
Don't answer "just curiosity", you already said that; there are so many things that are worth to be studied but not those ones, it is even not worth to search in my archives to pick up the answer.

I remember querying v$rowcache as far back as 6.0.

You can see in the v7.3 Oracle Server Reference manual that there were a lot fewer V$ views back then, but they were still pretty well established.

Don't know much about the X$ tables - never needed to.
