@ ramoradba-- I have already inserted the rupee foradian font in my windows and is working fine in word / excel. i did type this '`', but it remains as '`' and does not converts into the rupee font.
@ Michel--- What is its Unicode code? ---- How do i find this?
your suggestions are valuable

I also checked the unicode and this symbol is not available in unicode. could you also pl let me know how to use the unistr. i could figure out how it works as long as the columns are of single digit. i am not sure how to use it when columns are from 11 to 19 and 1a to 1f
