Doesn't this forum have any feature to automatically remove profanity enabled? I encountered a thread with a couple of common words that should be blocked and removed them, but was surprised that the forum did not do this automatically. I know that there are workarounds for most things and that blocking too much can result in banning common legitimate words, but it seems like it should at least block the obvious minimum.

This what Reported by "Rodrigo" to moderators
Quote:Reason: Hi moderators, Since I've registered in this forum this guy rarely coperates when I'm having an issue with Oracle. Just keeps bothering, and replying with irony instead of helping. A few days ago I got tired of him and reply a message with unnapropiate words, receiving a warning for this action. I will not repeat this action but this guy is totally unbearable Regards, Rodrigo
This is because of http://www.orafaq.com/forum/mv/msg/170748/505719/136607/#msg_505719
and why don`t we reply in a manner saying "post exact error message using sqlplus" as michel did here below
http://www.orafaq.com/forum/mv/msg/170748/505719/136607/#msg_505729
But with such replies By Blackswan,I am sure people wont ask anything in this forum in future. We should follow our guide lines first to "be polite" there are so many ways to ask the exact requirement other than this. Guys hope you people got it clear. Its My personal Opinion.
Regards
Sriram

My opinion is that smart people receiving such an answer will realize that he does not give anything for us to identify the problem and instead of thinking "what a a..." will think "what did I do wrong?".
Now ask yourself which kind of people do want in the forum?
BlackSwan chose one which is the one that understands her post.
By the way, I don't see anything impolite in saying:
"my car is not working.
tell me how to make my car go."
maybe cryptic but not impolite.
And I don't see why this appears in this topic; maybe you can explain us.
Regards
Michel

And then we have this thread: http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/94021/111365/. Lots of people agreeing with Frank there, but I can't really see any changes since then.
But from reading entries in this forum I really have to give my compliments to Barbara and Kevin for always giving polite and helpful answers. (These are two in particular which I have noticed in between many unfriendly posts in different threads)
