Dear All,

I have been trying to installed R12 on Oracle unbreakable linux.

I installed this and the post install steps failed with error

     File = /d01/oracle/VIS/db/tech_st/11.1.0/VIS_localhost.env
   RW-50016: Error: - Apps ORACLE_HOME environment file was not created:

And the dbc

DBC File
   RW-00023: Error: - DBC file was not created:
      File = /d01/oracle/VIS/inst/apps/VIS_localhost/appl/fnd/12.0.0/secure/VIS.dbc

Any ideas?

I did get a message about AVC denial stopping sqlplus loading

PS I think I have missed a Linux setup step.

In case anyone finds this and has the same problem.
I fixed this by changing the selinux setup to disabled.
