I would like to ask a general question about online application response time.
Which part is most common delay occur in online application?
I don't know which part is most common delay occur than other parts.

- at network response time?
- at application response time?
- at database response time?

Is there any research or information at this topic? please share me.

It depends upon where the bottleneck exists.

In decreasing likelihood
database server
application server
network
