Oracle 11.2 G Enterprise Manager on REDHAT LINUX 5 EE [message #486598]

Hi,
I am unable to configure EM(Oracle 11.2g) on Redhat Linux 5 Enterprise edition(32 bit). Environment variables are set to correct SID. If I try to run dbca the wizard does not display the Enterprise manager configuration screen. I have tried to create repositry by using emca -config dbcontrol -db config. But it throws exception that database instance is unavailable? Does anybody knows what has to be done. I am new to oracle. Any suggestions will be really appreciated.

EM requires SQL*Net to be functional.
post results of following OS commands

id
env | sort
lsnrctl status
lsnrctl service
sqlplus scott/tiger@TNS_ALIAS

yeah Its a test VM on which oracle is installed and my colleague just told me he installed agent on this machine which communicates with em installed on different machine. emctl status dbconsole emctl start dbconsole, both these commands are not working because loads of process are eating memory of vm now. I am going to reboot my VM and I will kill the agent then I will run both these commands. I will post the output later.

OC4J Configuration issue. /home/oracle/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_oracle11-test_TDMFIN not found.

When i checked the folder /home/oracle/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/oc4j/j2ee/ there is no OC4J_DBConsole_oracle11-test_TDMFIN.
