Hi,
I have Oracle 11g installed on AIX and I want to install another 11gR2 single instance in a different oracle home, will it be possible?

YES, but another ORACLE_HOME is NOT required to support another instance.

I forgot to mention the one with RAC is 11.2.0.2 and now I'm trying to install 11.2.0.1 single instance.

Yes. You can. But just be prepared to face the pain with updates/shared ASM storage.
