Good day!

Need to clarify upgrade procedures from Oracle 9i R1 (9.0.1.0.0) to Oracle 9i R2 (9.2.0.3.0). Do we need to first upgrade to 9.2.0.1.0 (as base) before proceeding to patch it by version 9.2.0.3? Or could we patch it directly from 9.0.1.0 to 9.2.0.3?

Thanks for the advise.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but you are upgrading from a desupported version to another desupported version.

Sorry for this.

Actually these are part of our legacy systems, wayback in 1995.
FYI, we still had production Oracle dBs that running in versions
7.3.4, 8.1, 9i R1, 9i R2 and 10g R2.
