I want to want to build a generic infrastructure that logs sql statements and time needed to execute EXEC SQL EXECUTE statements.

I would need to touch all existing source code if I do this with C/C++. Does anyone know a way to use the precompiler to add an additional macro call to the C/C++ code he generates from EXEC SQL EXECUTE?
