Conditional formatting is what you are looking for.

Here's an example based on Scott's schema.

I created a matrix report (using Report wizard). Query is a simple one: employees are "rows", departments are "columns", salaries are "matrix cells":
select deptno, ename, sal
from emp

I told wizard that I want it to calculate "Maximum" for the SAL field. It created summary columns "per department" (that's the one I'm interested in); the rest ("per report" and "per ename") can be deleted as we don't need them.

In Layout Editor, I deleted all summaries (as I don't want to display those values - I just want to highlight matrix cell that is equal to "maximum salary per department").

This is how a Data Model looks like:

Layout:

Conditional formatting for the "F_sal" field:
sal is equal to :MaxD
(note a colon (:) sign in front of MaxD!). I chose it to be "bold" and "red".

Run the report; this is the result:

sorry, but now i have to calculate on MIN value.
if both values are MIN like 300,300, Bold both.

i havent tried so far...
but i tried littlefoot method shown above.
I think in this way my problem can be solved, but another problem is, now when i tried to open report wizard nd want to make new min group, report builder shutdowns.
Now i can bold price by fix way like bold value when price=300. it works but its not the solution.

It sometimes bolds the value and sometimes doesn't.

I assume.
Which is understandable but gets us nowhere.

@fraction - you've got something wrong, but without knowing exactly what you did we really can't tell where the mistake is.
