Hi,

I want to be able to use an oracle database file the same way I use an access database file. i.e. I don't want t use a database server but though I want the whole database to be in one single file.

can this be done with oracle ?

and if it's possible, How can I do it ?

I think I've heared that this is possible and it's called "portable oracle database" . if this is not possible then what is oracle portable database ?
