Hi,

Need your help....

I mistakenly used a depreciated parameter, and it shows the error 'cannot use both new and old parameter....'.
Then I created a PFILE from SPFILE. Then I edited that PFILE and started the instance as 'startup PFILE'. Now it works fine.

Q1: But when I shutdown and restart the instance, it shows the same error.
please help me

Thanks in advance.......

It would be helpful if you followed Posting Guidelines - http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/88153/0/

I see no error or anything wrong so decline to guess at any possible solution.

Why do you steadfastly refuse to comply with Posting Guidelines?

Hi Blackswan, Michel,

I'm not lazy or refuse to read and follow the posting guideline. As I had already told you, such things I can't do as i'm using mobile internet.

Thanks

It will give you more profit to read the guide and get answers than to not read it and have nothing.
In addition, ALL the questions you post are answered in the book you said you read.

Michel
