Hi,

1) Is shutting down the DB flush all the data buffers, from the buffer Cache?

2) In any oracle version, do we have any way to flush only the buffer Cache.

Thanks a lot

1) What is your opinion about this? You told that you read Datatabase Concepts, it is not true as the answer in it. Also read Administrator's Guide

2) Yes. In ALL the current versions. Why don't you study them instead of an obsolete one (once again)?

Regards
Michel
