I'm trying to use the following article to get the wait events from Parallel Slave threads in a parallel query http://blogs.oracle.com/db/2010/09/how_to_get_a_10046_trace_for_a_parallel_query.html

But when I go to the user_dump_dest, there is only one trace file for the Query Coordinator, and it doesn't contain the wait events for the slaves.

I'm in a non-RAC environment - just one server, so the trace files for the slaves should not be in some other location.

I have confirmed that the parallel slaves had not already started when I started the trace by running ps -fu oracle in Unix and looking for the PNNN processes.

Anyone know how to get the parallel slaves generating trace files?
