Hi,
please help me on the below, which confusing me a bit.
Q1:
Is the role SELECT/EXECUTE/DELETE_CATALOG_ROLE is dependent on the setting of 07_DICTIONARY_ACCESSIBILITY=FALSE?
Q2:
please explain conn /as sysdba. I know sysdba is a powerful system Privilege. But tell me about it and can we use SYSOPER for instead of it....
Thanks in advance

Hi Mickel,
Q1:
Actually to protect the sys schema we need to set 07_DICTIONARY_ACCESSIBILITY=FALSE
At this mode, can we use create/delete.... CATALOG_ROLE?
Thanks a lot

Hi Mickel,
I'm really sorry to make u clear,
My point was, to protect the sys schema from unwanted users, we need to set the init parameter 07_DICTIONARY_ACCESSIBILITY,
Which is default with FALSE, assigning the role CATALOG_ROLE will affect the sys schema or not, if we set the init parameter 07_DICTIONARY_ACCESSIBILITY =TRUE?
Thanks

Maybe I am missing the point here, but wouldn't the solution be to not give out the SYS schema password to users?
