Not a support combination.
V8 Oracle is obsoleted & unsupported.
MetaLink (MOS) has NOTE on installing Java in V8, IIRC.

Also, you might want to specify what you are actually after.

"How Java Support Oracle 8.1.7" can have at least a dozen or so meanings.

You want to use Java Stored Procedures in Oracle??
You want to connect with a Java program to the Oracle database??
etc, etc...

You can embed any Java class inside Oracle JVM but it must be a class compatible with Java of the previous century.
