i checked that file, but i dint dint get it...im new to this DBA field...Just learning..... So please explain me in detail... thanks.....

I apologize that I was not paying attention to the content of the log file YOU reviewed.
Since I don't know what it contains, I can not offer any suggestion(s)
Enterprise Manager is NOT required to use or manage Oracle RDBMS, so learn to live without EM.

I am not sure which file you just posted, but I doubt it was
/home/sandeep/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/cfgtoollogs/emca/orcl/emca_2010-06-24_08-33-50-PM.log
The file on my system is not an XML file which is what you posted.
The error details should be near the end of file named above.

i posted this file's content - "/home/sandeep/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/cfgtoollogs/emca/orcl/emca_2010-06-24_08-33-50-PM.log"

so what shld i do with that error... Should i create emd.properties file by my self or any other solution
