We are a management consulting firm that builds a variety of IT applications for large non-profit and government agencies. Our dedicated IT development staff works in a variety of technology stacks to meet the needs of our clients. We are currently seeking an off-site on-call expert consulting and technical support service to assist our Java-Oracle application development team.
Examples of topics we might ask for assistance on include:
- JDeveloper 10.1.3 tips and tricks on Windows
- JDev Embedded, and Standalone OC4J 10.1.3.0 configuration, WAR deployment, and administration
- Oracle Db 10.2.0.1 installation, configuration, and administration on Linux and Windows
- Oracle SOA Application Server Suite 10.1.3.1 installation, configuration, and administration on Linux
- Building Oracle Reports to run on the SOA application server
- General Java development questions
An example of a typical question might be, "How do I configure the Java heap size when starting a standalone instance of OC4J so that it doesn't regularly crash with a Java heap OutOfMemoryError?" We are looking for someone that can regularly be available to answer questions, but not to actually serve as an active developer.
Services will be paid for on an hourly basis, although we are open to considering other arrangements. Typically, we would require only a few hours of assistance per month.
Kindly contact steven_mbenga@yahoo.com with your resume and background information for further details.
