Hi,
How to install oracle snmp agent on 11g, RHEL5.
Does it require to download and install or it's built in and requires just configuration ?
can anyone refer me to document or steps requires to do this?
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the links for management agent.
And I am confused with the followings:
> I wanted to install SNMP Agent only.To do this, is this required to install management agent first?
> Are these the part of GRID Control? as, management agents needs to be installed from GRID control wizard?
From the doc link http://docs.tpu.ru/docs/oracle/en/oim/B28196_01/idmanage.1014/b25353/snmp.htm
It says to install the following for UNIX:
./ Oracle_Access_Manager10_1_4_0_1_sparc-s2_Snmp_Agent
But I couln't find this exe to download.
Think, I have conceptual problem. My target is to install the free SNMP Agent on oracle server.
Thanks

The feature is deprecated in 11g. That's why there's no documentation about it.
Have a look at the SNMP entry in the orafaq wiki here. You find a My Oracle Support reference there and in there again a link to a discussion about the deprecation.
I'm not yet allowed to include links here until having posted at least 5 messages.
