Is there a "database shutdown" procedure scheduled on your system? Who maintains it, but you? Did you consult your colleagues?

i m DBA, i m maintaining the database. this server newly configured and installed oracle.

it was fine only. we shift the server from one place to another

but ip is same

after shift only this problem coming.

database down daily around 9 pm
OS rebooting around 6.45 am

anyway the database should not down, it may down when OS reboot.

I don't think that Oracle shuts down because someone moved a server from one room to another. There *must* be something else that changed in between.

Did you, perhaps, start to backup? If so, how does that procedure look like? Perhaps it (the procedure) shuts the database down while performing backup?

As usually, lack of communications causes undesired consequences.

It means that (regarding the database access) the computer could have shut down at 9 PM as well, take some rest and start up early in the morning.
