How to check current ongoing backup(Daily) is going fine or not
as far as the process is concerned i checked it using

ps -ef

from OS level and the backup is going on but my saparch has reached the set threshold 53%.

Thank you Micheal,
but the actual problem is tape has been over and the backup has come to halt.Now, the backup has been re initiated and the saparch value is coming down presently at 40%
