Hello,

I want to change DBID of my oracle database. DBID is 645238352, and it must be 635902611. Is this possible? How?

As far as I know you cannot choose your DBID.

BUT WHY?
Why it should that value?
Michel suggested it`s not possible.Actually its not documented so its not advisable here to post the link...

If you Google for it sure you will find one....
Keywords :-change dbid oracle 10g pythian the first one would be yours.
Hope you are playing with your testing database....

This will not help as the question is how to choose the DBID when this point is not addressed in the link you provided.
