I am installing Oracle 10g using windows 7 but i am facing problem Ora-12546.

 *Cause: User has insufficient privileges to perform the requested operation.
 *Action: Acquire necessary privileges and try again.

You can't override.

Solution is "Acquire necessary privileges and try again.".

I could be mistaken, but I do not think you have a supported configuration.

Oracle 10 of what?

Client?
Database?
By which User? Admin/Normal user.
Installing which of version 10?
